‘most everything you learned last week about speaking to an audience will do you little good in the world of Zoom. There is no fixed point to look at. There are no eyes to make contact with. There is no microphone to take with you as keep the audience’s attention by moving here and there.
Most of all there is no chemistry. The will be no audible chuckles and chortles to spur you on, no waves of laughs at a line that hits the funny bone. Rarely will there be applause and if there is you probably won’t hear it. It’s just you and a screen…
